Founded in 2021, Grey Redevelopment is a leading Charlotte based private Commercial Real Estate Investment firm focused on Value-Add Multifamily Redevelopment, Land Development, and Asset Management. Grey Redevelopment has substantially grown its portfolio in high-growth markets such as Charlotte, Raleigh, D.C., and other southern states. Specializing in properties in the southeast, Grey Redevelopment provides a consistent flow of investment opportunities to its investors who are accredited and busy professionals.

Managing Partner
Matt Whitney
Matt Whitney is a managing partner and founder of Grey Redevelopment, where he oversees the firm’s investment, asset management, and investor relations. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics, Matt has a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Prior to founding Grey Redevelopment, he gained extensive experience in commercial real estate valuation and grew a privately owned multi-million dollar real estate portfolio across the United States. With hands-on experience in executing renovation projects and managing deals through their full lifecycle, Matt works closely with high-level investors with decades of experience to deliver value-driven solutions and long-term growth.

Jeremiah Hancock
As a seasoned real estate professional, Jeremiah leverages his intimate market knowledge to acquire value-add multifamily opportunities, earning and exceeding investor trust. Jeremiah built his personal portfolio to over $9M+ with $34M AUM, and now helps like-minded individuals grow their real estate holdings.
Before investing in real estate, Jeremiah owned a commercial construction company specializing in multifamily renovations, including General Services Corporation's 3,600-unit $65M+ project in North Carolina. This experience honed his ability to build a focused, results-driven team excelling in large, complex projects.
